Procedure

Melt phase A components at 80-85°C and stir until uniform.Heat phase B components to 80-85°C and add slowly to phase A while stirring. Stir for 5 minutes at this temperature. Allow the emulsion to cool with stirring, remaining in continual motion. Avoid the incorporation of air. Homogenize at 60-50°C by means of a suitable dispersion unit (e.g., Ultra Turrax) in order to improve stability and structure. Stir while cooling to 30°C. Add phase C as required. Note: Excessive homogenizing can lead to an increase of the final viscosity.
